Hey there, and welcome to align(ish)! We're genuinely glad you're here.

These Terms of Service (along with our Privacy Policy and Return and Refund Policy) are the ground rules for using our site and services. We know legal documents can feel tedious, but this one's important—it covers your rights, our responsibilities, and what to expect when we work together.

By visiting our site, browsing our offerings, booking an event, or purchasing any of our products or services (collectively, the "Services"), you're agreeing to these Terms. If something here doesn't sit right with you, please don't use our Services—and feel free to reach out if you have questions.

The basics: "We," "us," and "our" refer to align(ish). "You" means you, the person using our Services. Our store is powered by Shopify, which helps us bring everything to you, but any purchases or bookings you make are directly with us.

1. Who Can Use Our Services

To use our Services, you need to be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live). If you're under 18, you'll need a parent or guardian's permission to use our site or make purchases on your behalf.

When you create an account, register for an event, or make a purchase, you're responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, current, and complete information (name, email, billing/shipping details, etc.)

  • Keeping your account credentials secure

  • All activity that happens under your account

You can't transfer, sell, or share your account with anyone else.

2. What We Offer (and What to Expect)

We do our best to accurately represent our products, events, and services on our site. That said, colors and details might look different depending on your device and screen settings—we can't guarantee that what you see on your screen will be exactly identical to the real thing.

We reserve the right to:

  • Update or change product descriptions at any time

  • Discontinue any product or service

  • Limit quantities or availability based on demand, location, or other factors

Product and event descriptions are subject to change without notice. We're human, and sometimes things shift.

3. Placing Orders and Bookings

When you place an order or book an event, you're making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline that offer for any reason.

Your order isn't confirmed until we confirm it. We need to receive and process your payment before your order is officially accepted. Once we've confirmed, it may not be possible to cancel or modify your order—so please review everything carefully before you hit "submit".

If we can't accept your order, need to make changes, or have to cancel, we'll do our best to reach you via the email or phone number you provided.

Important note for events (workshops, classes, retreats): Bookings for physical and online events are final and non-refundable once confirmed, in accordance with Danish and EU consumer law. Please see our Return and Refund Policy for full details.

All purchases are for personal or household use—not for resale or commercial purposes.

4. Pricing, Payment, and Billing

All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and are subject to change without notice. The price you'll pay is the price displayed when you place your order, as confirmed in your order confirmation email.

Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include:

  • Taxes (VAT, sales tax, etc.)

  • Shipping, handling, or delivery fees

  • Customs or import charges (if applicable)

Promotional pricing and discounts may be governed by separate terms. If there's a conflict between promotional terms and these Terms of Service, the promotional terms will apply.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment and billing information. You're responsible for promptly updating this information (including credit card numbers and expiration dates) so we can complete transactions and contact you as needed.

By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that:

  • The payment information is accurate and complete

  • You're authorized to use the payment method

  • Your payment provider will honor the charges

  • You'll pay all charges at the posted prices, including applicable taxes and fees

5. Shipping and Delivery (Physical Products)

We're not liable for shipping delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or other events outside our control. All delivery times are estimates—not guarantees.

Once we hand your order to the shipping carrier, the risk of loss passes to you. We'll do our best to help resolve any issues, but we're not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages after they leave our hands.

6. Digital Products and Online Events

When you purchase digital products (such as online courses, downloadable content, or access to digital workshops), please be aware:

  • No refunds once you've accessed the content. Under Danish and EU law, you lose your right of withdrawal once you've started using digital content—provided you've given us your express consent and acknowledged this beforehand. We'll always ask for that consent before giving you access.

  • Before you access it: You technically have a 14-day right of withdrawal if you haven't yet accessed or downloaded the content. If you change your mind before accessing it, contact us at admin@alignish.com within 14 days.

  • If something's broken or defective: You still have your 2-year legal warranty rights under Danish law. If a digital product doesn't work as described or has technical issues, we'll work to fix it or issue a refund if we can't resolve the problem.

For online live events (webinars, virtual workshops, livestreams), the same rules apply as for physical events—once the event begins or you've been given access, no refunds are available.

7. Intellectual Property

Everything you see on our site—text, images, graphics, logos, videos, designs, product descriptions, and the overall look and feel—is owned by align(ish), our affiliates, or our licensors. It's all protected by Danish, EU, and international intellectual property laws.

What you can do: Use our site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

What you can't do: Copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, download, store, or transmit any of our content without our prior written permission.

Our name, logo, product names, and slogans are trademarks of align(ish). You can't use them without our written permission. Shopify's name and trademarks belong to Shopify.

Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws, and could result in legal action.

8. Third-Party Tools and Links

We may provide access to third-party tools (like payment processors, scheduling apps, or customer service platforms) as part of our Services. We don't monitor or control these tools and provide them "as is" without warranties or endorsements.

Our site may also contain links to third-party websites or embedded third-party content. We're not responsible for the accuracy, content, or practices of these third-party sites. If you click a link and leave our site, you do so at your own risk.

Please review third-party terms and privacy policies carefully before engaging with them. Any complaints or issues with third-party products or services should be directed to that third party.

We may also introduce new features or tools in the future. Those will be subject to these Terms of Service unless otherwise stated.

9. Our Relationship with Shopify

align(ish) is powered by Shopify, which provides the technology and infrastructure for our online store. However, all sales and transactions are made directly between you and align(ish)—not with Shopify.

By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of your purchase, booking, or transaction with us. You release Shopify and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your interactions with align(ish).

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. All personal information we collect through the Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy [LINK] and applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Because our Services are hosted by Shopify, Shopify also collects and processes certain information about your use of the site to provide and improve the Services. Some of this information may be transmitted to third parties (including those located outside the EU) to facilitate payment processing, shipping, and other services.

11. Feedback and User Content

If you submit ideas, suggestions, reviews, feedback, proposals, testimonials, or any other content to us (collectively, "Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display that Feedback for any purpose, including commercial use.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to all Feedback you submit

  • You've disclosed any compensation or incentives you received for submitting Feedback

  • Your Feedback complies with these Terms and applicable laws

We have no obligation to:

  • Keep your Feedback confidential

  • Pay you for your Feedback

  • Respond to your Feedback

We may (but aren't required to) monitor, edit, or remove Feedback that we determine is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

You agree that your Feedback will not:

  • Violate anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights

  • Contain false, misleading, libelous, or unlawful content

  • Contain viruses, malware, or other harmful code

  • Misrepresent your identity or the origin of the Feedback

12. Errors and Inaccuracies

Occasionally, our site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to product descriptions, pricing, availability, promotions, or shipping information.

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice—even after you've placed an order. We may also cancel orders if pricing or product information was incorrect.

You may only use our Services for lawful purposes. You may not use our Services to:

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services (or any part of them) at any time, for any reason, without notice. You'll remain liable for all amounts owed up to the date of termination.

The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property, Feedback, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, Privacy Policy, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

Here's the part where we have to be really clear about what we can and can't promise.

The Services and all products offered through the Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that:

  • Your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free

  • The results you obtain from using the Services will be accurate or reliable

  • The quality of any products, services, information, or content will meet your expectations

  • Any errors in the Services will be corrected

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.

Danish and EU consumers: Some jurisdictions (including Denmark and the EU) limit or don't allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so this disclaimer may not fully apply to you. You still have your statutory consumer rights, including the 2-year legal warranty for defective goods and services.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

align(ish), our partners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers, licensors, and Shopify and its affiliates shall not be liable for any:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages

  • Lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages

  • Injury, loss, claim, or damage of any kind

This applies whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, arising from:

  • Your use of the Services or any products purchased through the Services

  • Any errors or omissions in content

  • Any loss or damage resulting from your use of the Services

This limitation applies even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Danish and EU consumers: Some jurisdictions don't allow limitations on liability for personal injury or certain types of damages, so this limitation may not fully apply to you.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless align(ish), Shopify, and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from any losses, damages, liabilities, claims, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  1. Your breach of these Terms

  2. Your violation of any law or third-party rights

  3. Your use of the Services

We'll notify you of any indemnifiable claim. We may control the defense and settlement of the claim at your expense, but we won't settle any claim requiring non-monetary obligations from you without your consent (not to be unreasonably withheld). You agree to cooperate in the defense of such claims.

18. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that part will be deemed severed and won't affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

19. Waiver and Entire Agreement

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms doesn't constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms (along with our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and any other policies referenced here) constitute the entire agreement between you and align(ish) and supersede any prior agreements or communications.

Any ambiguities in these Terms won't be construed against us.

20. Assignment

You may not transfer, assign, or delegate these Terms or any of your rights or obligations without our prior written consent. Any attempt to do so will be null and void.

We may transfer, assign, or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations without your consent or notice.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Danish law.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts, with the City Court of Copenhagen (Københavns Byret) as the court of first instance.

EU consumers: Under EU law, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the EU country where you live. This does not affect your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

22. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. We'll post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date at the top.

If we make material changes, we'll notify you in accordance with applicable law (e.g., via email or a notice on our site). Changes will be effective on the date specified in the notice.

Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
